Dr. Nalini Mohabir is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography, Planning, and Evironment at Concordia University. She is interested in negotiations of national belonging at the intersections of diaspora and decolonization. She is interested in decolonizing methodologies to highlight alternative repositories of knowledge (such as story-telling) that travel across time and generations to unsettle the borders of area studies.
