Léa Séguin is a visual artist and videographer based in Tiotia:ke/Montreal. Their studies and research lie at the intersection of sociology and mixed media creation. They hold a diploma in Media Technology and Film Production from Collège O’Sullivan and have worked as a freelance assistant technician the production company Urbania. They are currently completing a BA in fine arts at UQAM.

Through their work, they explore their experience of living with chronic pain and the complex dynamics between patients and healthcare professionals, particularly in the face of medical skepticism. Their approach is rooted in long-term self-portraiture, using it as a way to bear witness, to create a record, and to tell a story that unfolds over time, staying as close as possible to their lived experience.
