Mother of twins, Gracia is the one to whom the radio speaks—a fashion, art, and design-loving maven, she is also the best friend you wish you always had—equal parts spotlight and sanctuary, with a heart that remembers everything. Fiercely loyal with newfound boundaries, she shows up big, listens deep, and loves even deeper—sensitive to the core, as confident as she is vulnerable. She understands the transformative power of narrative and has helped others find and honor their own stories in small and big ways. A mirror for her friends, she continues to study her own life story in a constant effort to live authentically and encourage others to do the same, recognizing that the stories we carry can be the very guidance and support we need.

She also happens to be a dynamic, award-winning leader recognized for her impactful contributions to cultural innovation. As co-founder of a pioneering museum without walls, she secured support from over 40 institutional partners and funding from all three levels of government. These resources supported locally-based, co-created projects that united diverse groups across various disciplines and sectors to pursue shared goals. Currently, she holds a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council Doctoral Fellowship at Concordia University where she has long been affiliated with the Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling.
