Tania Casaubon is a multidisciplinary visual artist living in Tiohtià:ké/ Montréal. Her particular interest in textile work and participatory art have recently led her to build various projects in Quebec, Colombia, and Mexico, manipulating and distorting the use of cartography to make it more permeable to the spaces and communities she represents.. In her works, she aims to explore a multidimensional understanding of the space that surrounds us and that we inhabit, but also to highlight the power we collectively have to draw, transform and define our own territory, and consequently, our daily lives and identities. Tania holds a BFA from Concordia University.
