Owen Pharand recently completed a bachelors of arts (major in history, minor in liberal arts) at Concordia and is pursuing a masters in history at the university. His family comes from working-class neighbourhoods in Montreal, such as Point-Saint-Charles and Verdun, but he currently resides on the South Shore. Pharand has a passion for history and teaching, which he hopes to pursue professionally.
