Tatiana Haustant is a Master’s student — supervised by Nalini Mohabir — whose work explores diasporic memory, queer belonging, and decolonial storytelling across the French Caribbean and its diasporas. Her research focuses on women loving women (WLW) of the Martinican diaspora who return to Martinique, and how they reinterpret identity, kinship, and land through embodied memory, visual and oral narratives. She is also the founder of Ron Kozé, a community-led initiative that facilitates dialogue and decolonial conversations within the Caribbean diaspora based in Montreal.
