Student Affiliate
Sydnie Baynes is a freelance animator and film animation student at the Mel Hoppenheim School of Cinema. Her experiences include being an Animation Support Specialist with the Black Community Resource Center, as well as director of animation for Rhumbouge Cowgirl, and For White Folks Only. Sydnie’s work mainly includes themes addressing her experiences as a young black creative, promoting self-love, exemplifying a journey of self-righteousness and praise for black females.
