Richie Daly

Richie Daly (they/them) is a Trinidadian PhD student of Venezuelan heritage studying at Concordia University. They previously studied Film and Gender Studies at The University of the West Indies, St Augustine campus. Richie’s research project studies how Trinbagonian citizens, as well as Venezuelan migrants and refugees in protracted displacement in Trinidad and Tobago, narrativise their lived histories in the wake of repeating ‘national crises’. Their research interests include Caribbean Studies, Caribbean Feminisms, Black Studies, Literary and Black Geographies, and Critical Refugee Studies.
