Katya Korableva (she/her) is a social researcher and curator working at the intersection of social sciences, arts, and activism. She completed her M.A. in Human Rights and the Arts at Bard College, NY, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Humanities at Concordia University in Montreal. With a background in urban studies, migration studies, and interdisciplinary research, Katya now focuses on the contestations surrounding public history, reconciliation, and memory-making in post- conflict and post-migrant societies. Her PhD project explores the politics and relational ethics involved in representing conflict-induced migration.
