Her past engagement includes significant contributions during the foundational phases of both the Black Healing Fund, an initiative aimed at providing crucial resources for mental health support within the Black community, and the Black Healing Centre, envisioned as a dedicated space for culturally sensitive healing practices. Currently, Martha is the Quebec Regional Coordinator for the Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub (Q-BEKH). Additionally, she works at Community Capacity Building Initiative (CCBI), a non-profit organization that provides tax services and financial literacy resources for Two-Spirit, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse communities.
