Maricia Fischer-Souan is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Research on Social Inequalities at Sciences Po Paris and the Centre d’études et de recherches internationales (CÉRIUM) at Université de Montréal (October 2021-October 2024). Her postdoctoral research project, Im.magine – Mapping Immigrant Imaginations: Comparing North Africans in Montréal and Marseille, examines representations of and relationships with space and place in migrant identity construction. She has a PhD in Social Sciences (2020) from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and was previously a researcher in the GEMM Horizon 2020 project.
