Javi Fuentes Bernal

Javi is a PhD student in social work and a gender, migration and mental health consultant. Holder of a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and a master’s degree in social work, their experiences include community research, clinical practice with migrant LGBTQI+ people and research creation. They are also involved in the development of socially engaged art exhibitions within queer communities in Montreal and Colombia. Javi currently sits on the board of directors of AGIR (LGBTQI+ action with immigrants and refugees).
