Gabryelle Iaconetti (she/they) is a first-year PhD student at Concordia University under the supervision of Dr. Rachel Berger. Their MA thesis research examined the emergence of bisexual support groups in late twentieth century Toronto through both oral histories and archival documents. Her doctoral research project aims to shift the focus from urban bisexual activism to that of support groups in smaller Ontario cities. Gabryelle holds a BA and MA in History from Concordia University and MISt (Master of Information Studies) from McGill University. She served on the 2024 organizing committee for COHDS’ Emerging Scholars Symposium. Her research interests lie at the intersections of bisexual history, oral history, queer space, and archives.
