Des Cendres Rivière

Des Rivière is a Montréal-based composer, sound artist, inter-disciplinary creator and wildlife tracker. Blending ambient textures, analog tape and field recording they merge Ecology, social imagination, local & oral knowledge transmission in an attempt to re-structure and re-think the ways we all shape our relationship to creativity, art/music and the land we live on. They seek a way to build relationship bridges, share emotional connections through performance, learn from local communities and share what they can through the practice(s) that carry them.
