Research Affiliate
Catherine Larochelle is a historian and professor of history at the Université de Montréal. Her research interests span the history of childhood and youth, colonial history, representations of Indigenous peoples, and the history of French-Canadian missionary work. Her first book, “L’école du racisme. La construction de l’altérité à l’école québécoise (1830-1915),” was published by Presses de l’Université de Montréal in 2021 and in English translation in 2023 by the University of Manitoba Press.
