Student Affiliate
Montreal-born artist Sonia Bazar works from their studio in NDG. They hold an MFA in Photography from Concordia University and are currently a PhD candidate in Art Education. Working across sculpture, photography, and poetry, Bazar’s research-driven practice examines alien landscapes and how bodies belong to space.
Their work has been presented in Repair Manuals and Cosmic Sounds: Self-Publishing to Heal the Entire Universe at the Museu d’Art Contemporani de Barcelona (MACBA).
