Student Affiliate
Samia Dumais is a PhD candidate (ABD) in History at Concordia University. As a transdisciplinary researcher, Samia focuses on Afro-descendant and Black transnational discourses and ideologies, such as Black feminism and internationalism. She is the coordinator of the Montreal History Group since 2025 and serves as an archivist for the Afro-feminist community organization Harambec. She has notably collaborated with the community organization Relais-Femmes, Ingenium Canada, and the Réseau québécois en Études féministes.
