Student Affiliate
Romy Shoam is pursuing a Master of Arts in Public History at Carleton University. She has recently completed her undergraduate degree in Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies with a minor in Women’s Studies at Concordia University. She is greatly interested in the social history of Montreal and Quebec, both in academic and public education settings. Romy has experience contributing to archival and oral history research at the Museum of Jewish Montreal, the MEM – Centre des mémoires Montréalaises, and Concordia University. As a COHDS affiliate, Romy is looking forward to pursuing her future research in oral history regarding immigration to Quebec during the Quiet Revolution.
