Student Affiliate
My name is Nay M. Achkar, I grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, and am a PhD student in Public History at North Carolina State University. My research focuses on Oral History, Memory Studies and the SWANA region, more specifically my dissertation will be about the 2020 Beirut Port Blast. I work as a TA (soon to be instructor) at university, a tutor (Alliance Francaise and Freelance) and a substitute in a Montessori school. I speak Arabic, French, English and an intermediate level of Spanish.
