Keisha Cuffie (she/her/elle) is the founder of Black Legacy Collective, a national not-for-profit dedicated to preserving Black Canadian history from the 1600s to today through research, public programming, and accessible education. A bestselling author, curator, and educator, Keisha holds degrees in Political Science and Critical Race Studies, a Graduate Diploma in Curatorial Studies, and is completing a Master’s in Canadian Studies with a focus on Black History in Canada. Her curatorial work includes co-curating the first permanent Black history exhibit at Upper Canada Village Museum and serving as the first external curator for the Canadian Museum of History’s Hands-On-History series. She is the author of D is for Dazzling and The Time Keepers, with additional titles forthcoming through Dundurn Press and Orca Publishing. Her work has been featured by CBC, CTV, and national media outlets. She is an incoming Concordia PhD History student beginning Fall 2026.
