Julian holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently a master’s student in the history department at Concordia University in Montreal where he holds a 2025 DePOT MA Fellowship. He is also a recipient of a 2026 CGRS-M scholarship for his forthcoming thesis project Leaving Eldorado: Indigenous Responses to Uranium Deindustrialization and Settler Recession. His research interests include histories of settler colonialism, labour, and Indigenous peoples in his home province of Saskatchewan. He currently lives in Saskatoon with his partner.
