Julian is a master’s student in history at Concordia University where he received a 2025 DePOT Master’s Fellowship. He completed his Honours degree in history at the University of Saskatchewan in Spring 2025. His thesis project will explore the relationship between deindustrialization and settler-colonialism in northern Saskatchewan, with a specific focus on the opportunities and obstacles produced through mine closure for the Indigenous and settler communities in and around Uranium City.
