Student Affiliate
I am interested in historicising black African feminist activists from the 1960s to the 1990s. I am especially interested in the links that can be made between feminist activism and other socio-political activisms in an African context that relates to universal human rights, nation building, as well as the independence struggles; all of these themes are concurrent according to the Pan African feminist frame of analysis, which leads to a more holistic history of black African women.
