Gabriella Freeman

Gabriella Freeman is a textile artist and PhD candidate in Anthropology at Concordia. They are interested in human relationships to urban ecologies of Montreal, employing oral history as a methodology to generate soundwalks of the urban wild. Working through a perspective of climate resilience, they ask how storytelling in place can serve as a tool to cultivate restorative relationships to disturbed landscapes.
