Steve Schwinghamer is an historian based at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21, Halifax (Nova-Scotia). This national museum aims to inspire and enable Canadians to explore their relationships with the migrations that have profoundly shaped the country. Steve is responsible for historical research in the Exhibitions, Research & Collections department.
