Po Ki is a PhD student in INDI at Concordia University. She holds an MSc in Multimedia and Entertainment technology from the Design School of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where she started her journey in exploring possibilities in a virtual representation of the heritage of cultural significance. Her research focuses on heritage conservation by leveraging oral history to provide an effective understanding and cultural presence for the global audience.
She has been working on her game CAGE which portrays the vanished Kowloon Walled City of Hong Kong and will serve as a testbed for her research. The value and potential social impact of this game have been recognized by Ubisoft gTV channel, the Hong Kong Federation of Design Associations, and the Hong Kong Game Development Association.
