Eleni Schirmer is a writer, educator and organizer.
She works as a postdoc at Concordia University’s Social Justice Centre, and a research associate with the Future of Finance Initiative at UCLA’s Luskin Institute on Inequality and Democracy. She also organizes with The Debt Collective.
She researches and teaches about topics related to the political economy of education, labor, and the sociology and history of education in the United States. She earned a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2021.
