Position Overview

The Centre for Oral History and Digital Storytelling (COHDS) is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer for a temporary summer position. The successful candidate will support the Centre’s communications and outreach efforts by producing visually engaging materials that reflect COHDS’s mission and activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and layout of the COHDS Annual Report, ensuring clarity, consistency, and visual appeal

• Develop an informative and visually compelling COHDS brochure for outreach and institutional use

• Create adaptable poster templates for events, workshops, and programming

• Support the design of additional promotional and digital materials as needed (e.g., social media graphics, presentations, signage)

• Ensure all materials align with COHDS branding guidelines and accessibility standards

• Collaborate with staff to translate complex information into clear visual formats

• Incorporate feedback and revise designs in a timely manner
