Bernice is a second year student majoring in Public History and Irish Studies at Concordia. She is interested in history in memory, gender performance, and fashion. She was first introduced to Oral History in an Oral Histories in Childhood course where she wrote « What Does Peace Sound Like: Girlhood and Rigidity in Post-War Toronto », published in the 2024 Edition of Historae. In the future, Bernice hopes to further investigate histories of gendered performance within Canada as well as one day developing Oral History pedagogies.
