My scholarship begun with a diploma in urban management at the university of Lille (France). Afterwards, I have completed a third year of bachelor in geography and urban planning at the university of Chicoutimi (Quebec). Back in France, I have completed a master degree at the university of Strasbourg (France) in urban and environmental sociology. Today, I’m in second year of PhD in urban studies at INRS (Quebec). I’m particularly interested in long-term impacts of megaproject of development under the construction of territorial identities. My subject of thesis is about the effects of collective memory of Mirabel’s expropriations of the 1970′ on the construction of territorials identities, and more specifically on the place attachment of residents.
