Dennis Tibil Bersong is a first-year doctoral student in the Department of History at Concordia University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and an MPhil in History from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi, Ghana. His research interests encompass social, environmental, gender, and medical history. Currently, his work investigates the marginalisation, segregation, and punitive treatment of vulnerable women in northern Ghana who have been accused of witchcraft by their families and communities. Additionally, Tibil has collaborated with several non-governmental organisations to provide support and advocacy for these marginalised women.
