Dear Affiliates and Community Members,
As we wrap up this non-conventional academic year, we are pleased to report that it has been a very fruitful year for COHDS and the ALLab. We took full advantage of this virtual year to organize a record number of events that were attended by a record number of participants. The pandemic forced us to accelerate our digital transition and we were able to respond to this challenge while remaining as supportive as possible to the needs of our affiliates. Throughout the year, we have seen the multiple advantages of working remotely, but we have also experienced many of the inconveniences, one of them being the distance it creates between us. For 16 months now, we have not been able to see each other outside of the limits of our screens and we are tired of that. We are now looking forward to the new “normal” and to welcoming you back at COHDS and at the ALLab, hopefully as soon as this Fall. Our new series of events will be announced by the end of August. Meanwhile, it is time for us to close the virtual doors of COHDS for the summer and to wish you a nice and well-deserved summer.
