Student Affiliate
Delphine Duplain is a Humanities PhD student at Concordia University with a background in urban planning and design. Her practice is centred on creating innovative solutions through a playful and imaginative approach. She worked on conservation and education projects in Cambodia, from mapping the ocean floor of the Kep Archipelago to play-based education projects that foster environmental awareness. Her work at the UNESCO Chair in Urban Landscape in Montreal included coordinating the international UNESCO Studio. She has been teaching at the Faculty of Environmental Design at the University of Montréal. For her doctoral project, Delphine uses oral history to develop a cultural history of the landscape shaped by the construction of the St. Lawrence Bridge in 1886 between LaSalle and the Kahnawà:ke Mohawk reserve.
