Félicité Couëlle-Brunet (she/they) is a visual artist working with moving images, film, and performance (VJ). She is currently studying Film Animation at Concordia University, where her research explores hybrid analog-digital instruments for real-time visual storytelling. By combining handmade animation with projection, sound, and movement, her work creates immersive environments where images can be remixed, jammed with, and reinterpreted live.

Rooted in Montreal’s independent audio-visual scene, Félicité has worked as a machinist, cultural mediator, and video lead at venues including Usine C and MUTEK’s Village Numérique. She frequently collaborates with musicians and contemporary dancers, experimenting with motion sensors and collective projection spaces to open new possibilities for shared creation.

Her most recent projects includes a residency at 1001 Pots, where she fused plants, film strips, and animation into an audio-visual performance, and her current development of a visual synthesizer that allows artists to manipulate hand-drawn animation in sync with sound. Through these practices, she contributes to the storytelling community by building tools and spaces that expand how narratives can be experienced collectively.
