Nily Louis

Nily Louis is a Canadian filmmaker writer and videographer. After earning a bachelor’s degree in I.T Security, he worked in tech before fully dedicating himself to film. In 2020, he received a grant from the Conseil des arts de Montréal and joined a screenwriting residency with Black on Black Films. Two years later, he was awarded a Netflix scholarship to attend a screenwriting program at L’inis. Today, he works as a screenwriter, camera operator, editor, and director including as a videojournalist with Global News Montreal. Nily works on both fiction and non fiction documentary projects and he is always open to new creative collaborations.
