Pramila Choudhary is an interdisciplinary textile artist, designer, researcher, and PhD candidate in Geography, Planning and Environment at Concordia University. Her work explores Indigenous textile knowledge, embodied knowledge, making practices, wool economies, material culture, sustainability, and research-creation across India and Canada. Trained at the National Institute of Design (India) and Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (Switzerland), she combines ethnographic research, textile making, exhibitions, and community engagement to investigate relationships between fibre, land, memory, and ecological futures. She is a Concordia Public Scholar (2025–2026), former Sustainability Ambassador, recipient of Concordia University’s Sustainability Champion Award, and a visiting researcher at Nottingham Trent University through the Mitacs Globalink Research Award.
