Deborah Waddell is a professional Genealogist, certified Photo Manager, and the founder of “Record Family History.” Her company specializes in helping individuals preserve their personal or family stories as a lasting legacy. Through genealogical research, oral history interviews, and the organization and digitization of photos, memorabilia, and media, Deborah creates curated collections or keepsake books that can be shared with future generations.
Currently, she is preparing for a March 2025 presentation for the Glengarry Historical Society, where she is interviewing descendants of both the British “Home Children” who were sent to Glengarry, Ontario, and the families who took them in. These child migrants were placed with rural Canadian families as part of a historical emigration program.
