We are inviting nominations and self-nominations three positions on our Administrative Board:
- 1 Core Representative (two-year term);
- 1 Community Representative (one-year term);
- 1 Student Representative (one-year term).
As a member of our Administrative Board, you would be asked to take part in our board meetings (held about four times per year), provide guidance on policies and future directions, and represent the concerns of members of our community. This is an opportunity to take on a more active role at COHDS and bring your research and expertise to bear on our centre’s life and work.
To nominate someone or self-nominate, please send a short bio of the nominee to cohds.chorn@concordia.ca by September 5. You will be asked to present yourself to the community at our “Annual General Assembly” on Friday, September 13. If there should be more than one nomination, an election will be held.
If there is more than one nomination approved by the board, there will be an election at the Annual General Assembly. During this election, you will be asked to present yourself to the community; all student or community affiliates will vote in the election.
