VK Preston is an Assistant Professor of History at Concordia University. VK’s work focuses on cultural histories of dance, theatre, and performance- taking up interventions by artists as well as scholars and publics. VK has published articles and chapters in Theatre Journal, The Oxford Handbook of Dance and Reenactment, Performance Research, TDR / The Drama Review, The Oxford Handbook of Dance and Theatre, and History, Memory, Performance. They are currently at work on their first book, and their writing addresses both early modern and contemporary performance in conversation.
