Miranda is pursuing an MA in Art History at Concordia. She completed an Undergraduate degree with Majors in Art History and Studio Art, as well as a Minor in Sustainability Studies. Thus, she is both an Arts and a Science student; she has experience in fields such as sculpture, design, biochemistry, forestry, environmental science, and sustainability studies. This has allowed her to explore possible connections between artistic practices and ecologically-based matters. The knowledge she has gained from the uniquely related combination of subjects she has taken, as well as from the diverse jobs she has held, has both humbled and inspired her – it is the impetus for her continued pursuit of education and community work.
