Laura Gallo Tapias

Laura Gallo Tapias is a feminist interdisciplinary researcher and mental health consultant. She recently received a master’s degree from the Psychiatry Department at McGill University with concentrations in transcultural psychiatry as well as feminist and gender studies approaches to refugee mental health research. She is also interested in performance (and performance as therapeutic method), writing/poetry, and grassroots political advocacy -particularly with respect to migrants. She is currently living in Berlin, where she is enrolled in a program in Expressive Arts Therapies.
