She graduated from Concordia with a Master&rsquo;s in geography in\u00a02019, and her research-creation thesis\u00a0Alley Atlas: From non-place to place in six maps\u00a0won the COHDS Award of Distinction in Oral History in 2020. Her oral history project\u00a0The Storied City: Montreal\u00a0was featured in \u00c9chelles Magazine in 2017, and her sculptural\u00a0jewelry work on Pointe St. Charles,\u00a0Factory Found, has been pictured in Quebec Heritage News. She is currently living in Vancouver where she is continuing her place-based artistic practice on a new public-space project,\u00a0Ode to the Garden City Lands.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About <em>The PlaceDive Podcast<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The PlaceDive Podcast brings attention to unloved urban spaces and brings untold urban stories into the light. We mix long-lost archival history with everyday people\u2019s personal experiences to show a side of urban space you haven\u2019t seen before. This first episode is about alleyways, and the Bishop\/Mackay alleyway in Montr\u00e9al in particular.<\/p>\n<p>Future episodes will be about secretly wonderful underpasses, street corners, parking lots, bridges, and more! We\u2019ll be focusing on spaces across Canada and looking for personal stories, so if you\u2019ve got a story, let us know!
