In 1998, he co-founded theatre magazine\u00a0<em>alt.theatre: cultural diversity and the stage<\/em>. He writes both in Hindi and English, a language he acquired as an adult. His recent plays are\u00a0<em>Land Where the Trees Talk<\/em>,\u00a0<em>No Man\u2019s Land<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Trading Injuries<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Counter Offence<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Bhopal<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Truth and Treason\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>State of Denial<\/em>. Some of his plays have been translated into French, Italian, Hindi and Punjabi. He is a recipient of Quebec Drama Federation, Montreal English Critic\u2019s Circle, and South Asian Theatre Festival Awards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.teesriduniya.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>Teesri Duniya Theatre<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is dedicated to producing politically relevant plays that explore life-affecting issues based on the cultural experiences of marginalized communities, which emphasizes multicultural diversity and building intercultural relations.
