This award celebrates research excellence in the interdisciplinary field of oral history by honouring the best graduate thesis and\/or work of research creation in the interdisciplinary field of oral history.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">All our graduate student affiliates, who successful defended and submitted their thesis between February 1, 2025 and January 31st, 2026, are eligible to be nominated for the honour of this award. We also welcome self-nominations. The award is open to citizens, landed immigrants, and international students alike, though nominees must have been formally affiliated with COHDS in the preceding year.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">As is our tradition, the winner(s) will be announced at this year&rsquo;s Emerging Scholars Symposium on Friday, March 20.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">Nomination packages must include:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">The graduate thesis and\/or work of research creation, alongside other relevant materials (such as website URL, text, images, etc.)<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\" role=\"presentation\">A cover letter that highlights the key contributions of the nominated work.
