My research concerns the Hungarian Jewish community of Montreal and its subgroups, currently focusing on the Hungarian Martyrs Synagogue and Sisterhood. My seminar research during my Religion \/ Judaic Studies MA addressed Hungarian Jewish food and death rituals, mainly through an array of Holocaust memoirs.
