Son travail incarne les \u00e9thiques de \u00ab\u00a0l&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 partag\u00e9e \u00bb qui constitue le fondement m\u00eame de notre travail au CHORN.<\/p>\n<p>Through her work and research, Cassandra\u2019s connection to her community and passion for sharing stories has always been evident. Her MA research project \u201cThe Yellow Line: Italo-Canadian Oral Histories from Montreal\u2019s Backyards and Schoolyards\u201d which culminated in a pop-up archival photo installation and oral history exhibit, presented at Casa d\u2019Italia in March 2019, poetically put into conversation the life stories of six Italo-Canadians, who grew up in Tiohti\u00e0:ke (Montr\u00e9al) between 1950 and 1977, with Cassandra\u2019s own memories of growing up and coming of age in the city\u2019s Italian community. In turn, in her newsletter \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/artistorian.substack.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/artistorian.substack.com\/\">Crivello<\/a>,\u201d Cassandra offers elegantly crafted reflections on feast days in her family\u2019s home region Molise (Italy), the value of \u201chard work\u201d that constituted the refrain of her childhood and youth, and her own practice as an oral historian.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 travers son travail et ses recherches, le lien de Cassandra avec sa communaut\u00e9 et sa passion pour le partage d&rsquo;histoires ont toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9vidents. Dans son infolettre \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/artistorian.substack.com\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/artistorian.substack.com\/\">Crivello <\/a>\u00bb, Cassandra propose des r\u00e9flexions \u00e9l\u00e9gantes sur les jours de f\u00eate dans la r\u00e9gion familiale de Molise (Italie), sur la valeur du \u00ab travail acharn\u00e9 \u00bb qui a constitu\u00e9 le refrain de son enfance et de sa jeunesse, et sur sa propre pratique de l&rsquo;histoire orale.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, earlier this year, Cassandra help shepherd to completion a collaborative project \u2013 an oral history cookbook on the stories and recipes of Montrealers from Molise. This richly illustrated volume weaves together the stories and recipes from thirty first-, second-, and third-generation Molisan home cooks in Quebec who share traditional family recipes from their ancestral hometowns. As the oral historian-in-chief, researcher, and writer, Cassandra not only worked as a member of a five-person team, but also built and maintained relationships with seventeen participating associations in the process. In so doing, Cassandra not only worked on sharing important stories of foodways amongst Montrealers from Molise, but also participated in weaving together strands of community.<\/p>\n<p>En outre, au d\u00e9but de cette ann\u00e9e, Cassandra a aid\u00e9 \u00e0 mener \u00e0 bien un projet collaboratif intitul\u00e9 \u00ab <a href=\"https:\/\/www.famq.net\/cookbook\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.famq.net\/cookbook\">Dalla valigia alla tavola: A journey through Molisan culinary heritage<\/a> \u00bb &#8211; un livre de cuisine qui inclue des segments d&rsquo;histoires orales et les recettes des Montr\u00e9alais de Molise. Ce volume richement illustr\u00e9 rassemble les r\u00e9cits et les recettes de trente cuisinier.\u00e8re.s de premi\u00e8re, deuxi\u00e8me et troisi\u00e8me g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Molise au Qu\u00e9bec, qui partagent les recettes familiales traditionnelles de leurs villes ancestrales. En tant qu&rsquo;historienne orale en chef, chercheuse et r\u00e9dactrice, Cassandra a non seulement travaill\u00e9 au sein d&rsquo;une \u00e9quipe de cinq personnes, mais a \u00e9galement \u00e9tabli et entretenu des relations avec dix-sept associations participantes en cours de route.
