The group engages in practice-based explorations surrounding aesthetic vocabularies and rehearsal ethics that embrace marginalized population demographics, such as ethnicity, deafness, disability, and Queer identities. The group believes that new expressions of performing arts can emerge through the practice of inclusion. Postmarginal has three streams of activity: performance research, academic research, and community conversations.
