He has taught courses in architecture, museums, and heritage at UQAM, Vanier College, and in international institutions. His research interests include museum architecture, places of memory and cultural landscapes, heritage, and community participatory cultural development. He has been actively involved with several community organizations, including the Milton Parc Housing Co-op, the Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de D\u00e9veloppement Communautaire de Montr\u00e9al, the Montreal Urban Ecology Center, the Association for the Defense of Human Rights, and several organizations in the Iranaian Community in Montreal.
