His work holds a particular interest in queer archival histories and oral history collection. His MA thesis &lsquo;Active Grieving: The Aesthetic Activism of ACT UP Montr\u00e9al&rsquo; focuses on the graphic ephemera of the radical HIV\/AIDS activist collective between 1990-1993, utilizing oral history and aesthetic analysis of protest-driven graphic design. Outside of academia, his music as Woodpigeon and as a member of Frontperson has received critical acclaim from The Guardian, New York Times, Die Zeit and others. His newest musical project Brittle Dreams is preparing release of their first LP with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Qu\u00e9bec, and Creative BC. His work as a writer has appeared in publications including The Vienna Review, Metropole and Icelandair Stopover, and he is presently the community director for QueerMTL at Tourisme Montr\u00e9al and a curator of special exhibitions at the Archives gaies du Qu\u00e9bec, including the shows &lsquo;L\u2019activisme esth\u00e9tique d\u2019ACT UP MONTR\u00c9AL : une histoire en photos et en affiches&rsquo;, &lsquo;FAG QC* : 40 ans, 40 invit\u00e9\u00b7es, 40 propositions tir\u00e9es des Fonds des Archives Gaies du Qu\u00e9bec&rsquo;, and &lsquo;G\u00c9N\u00c9RATION XEROX&rsquo;, an exhibition on queer zine and self-publishing culture.
