His MA thesis focuses on the graphic ephemera of HIV\/AIDS activist collective ACT UP Montr\u00e9al, utilizing oral history and aesthetic analysis. Outside of academia, his music as Woodpigeon and as a member of Frontperson has received critical acclaim from The Guardian, New York Times, Die Zeit and others. His newest musical project Brittle Dreams is currently recording their first LP with funding from the Canada Council for the Arts.
