This workshop will provide you with some of the fundamentals in the interdisciplinary field of oral history. Participants will learn about an oral history approach to interviewing, ethics in research, and the many ways that oral histories are shared with the public. This workshop is strongly recommended to all new affiliates, as it is intended to present the <\/span>methodology<\/span> and ethics followed by our Centre.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Steven High<\/strong>\u00a0is Professor of History and has published extensively in oral history. He was the principal investigator of the Montreal Life Stories project, which recorded the life stories of 500 survivors of mass violence, as well as the Living Archives of Rwandan Exiles and Survivors.\u202f<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
